Saying “I do” to a Jewish Persia

We definitely appreciate that our client base in Georgia is growing, and we loved working with this fun couple! The bride’s family is Persian, and the groom’s family is Jewish. It was nice seeing the two cultures blend so seamlessly to make their wedding the best it could be. The Persian side could be seen in the large sofreh at the altar, and also in the honey ceremony. There was a beautiful Jewish chuppah, and of course the groom stomped on the glass at the end of the ceremony. The two wed at the Roswell River Landing with the beautiful Chattahoochee River in the background. There were some comical moments when people floating down the river passed by with their music blaring, but the bride and groom laughed it off. It was a day full of love and laughs.

New Year Nuptuals

We had the opportunity to photograph a wedding at the end of the year for one of our friends from church. We always see it as an honor when a friend wants us to be a part of their special day. It was a small ceremony where the attendants were the bride’s sister, and the groom’s sons. The love we witnessed that day was evident everywhere we looked. At least we live here in the south so when we went outside to take pictures, it wasn’t too cold. The bride even had a lovely fur shawl to keep her warm.
