Macro shots with rain or dew are the best! It’s so great to see nature interacting with itself and the beauty it creates. I feel these photos reflect life and all the fullness thereof. These were also taken in Maine – in Bar Harbor and Pittsfield.
Let me just say that Maine summers are much nicer than Maine winters. This was my second visit to Maine and we went to Acadia National Park near Bar Harbor. Even thought it was windy and misty, the beach was beautiful!
While at the same park where “study of a flower” was shot, I came across a curious ladybug. He kept crawling towards me and my husband, so I got some shots. I was surprised at how fast they can walk!
One of my favorite kinds of photography to do is macros of botanicals. I was at the park one afternoon, reading in the shade, and I looked over and saw these two tiny flowers. I proceeded to fill my card with different angles and compositions. I love how such a tiny little blossom can really pop a picture!
