Some of you may or may not know that I love horses. I used to teach lessons and run riding programs for high schoolers at a summer camp. I loved it! I’ve been missing it lately, so here’s my collection of favorite pictures from the camp. Riding was something I never thought I’d do, and it brought me such joy. You form a bond with your horse; he perks up when he sees you, almost smiles when you take him for a ride. It is this bond with a very special horse I am missing these days.
It’s great being able to photograph your friend’s wedding! It was lovely being able to witness the love between the bride and groom. The wedding took place outside next to a running brook and sequoia trees. There were personalized touches, like hand-made wrapping paper at the rehearsal dinner, and hand-made jewelry for the bridesmaids!

Thank you so much for your patience while we rework our companies. We will be keeping our old websites for portfolio and marketing purposes. While at the same park where “study of a flower” was shot, I came across a curious ladybug. He kept crawling towards me and my husband, so I got some shots. I was surprised at how fast they can walk!
This is my first ever blog! I will be updating as I have new shoots, or just to share some favorite pictures of mine from the past. You should always feel free to check out my website, which is currently undergoing a major face-lift, at samanthahowardphotography
